FAIR LAWN, NJ –– Control Concepts, Inc. (CCI), a leading independent provider of audiovisual control system solutions, today announced that “Be Green – Save Green” will be the theme for the company’s show presence at InfoComm 2010 this week in Las Vegas. As part of the company’s Green AV show theme, Control Concepts has created a free Green AV Energy Audit Checklist available for download from its web site. The checklist provides 20 tips on ways to reduce the energy consumption of both new and existing audiovisual system installations.

“In order to save both costs and energy, the audiovisual world is going Green, as we’ll see at InfoComm. While the standards for Green AV practices are still in development, a lot can be achieved today – there’s really no need to wait,” said Steve Greenblatt, Control Concepts’ Founder and President. “By focusing on areas such as resource management, building automation, lighting control and more, a typical complex AV system can benefit measurably from Green AV and energy-saving practices. With all the pressures on organization to reduce costs, we hope that our Green AV checklist offers some quick, useful tips on how control system best practices can translate into energy savings.”
