Control Concepts’ Steve Greenblatt Serves on InfoComm Board of Governors
FAIRLAWN, NJ –
InfoComm International, the premier association for the audio and information communications industries worldwide, is pleased to announce the election of Steve Greenblatt, CTS of Control Concepts as the new Chairman of the Independent Programmers Council. The position of Chairman, as elected by peer council members, spans a two-year term and includes a seat on the InfoComm Board of Governors for 2008.
“The Independent Programmers Council continues to represent an important stride in recognizing the value and efforts of the independent programming community,” remarks Steve Greenblatt, new council Chairman. “The opportunities that the council presents for its members and the contributions that the council has made to the industry are only a few of the benefits provided to InfoComm members. I am honored to have the opportunity to work closely with council members and InfoComm staff to continue the initiatives that are underway and lead the council to take on the challenges that lie ahead.”
Through involvement in InfoComm initiatives like the Roadmap to Control and the Dashboard for Controls, the Independent Programmers Council has made significant contributions to the industry during its short notable history. Members are presented with the opportunity to network with peers, lead sub-committees, participate in intra-council activities, and make a difference in the industry.
