Control Concepts Team Earns Certification for Crestron’s DigitalMedia Analog and Digital AV Distribution and Control

AV Control System Solutions Provider’s Key Technical Staff Completes Training
Courses from Crestron

FAIR LAWN, NJ –– Control Concepts, Inc. (CCI), a leading independent provider of audiovisual control system solutions, today announced that
four members of its technical team are completing training and becoming certified on Crestron’s DigitalMedia™
product line. DM certified engineers
are proficient in system setup, diagnostics, testing and reporting, and are required to fully execute and support an
AV project using Crestron’s DM equipment.

“Crestron’s DigitalMedia breaks new ground in terms of distributing and managing digital video and audio.
This quantum leap in technology requires a higher level of knowledge and capability only found in firms who have been
DigitalMedia Certified.”
said Steve Samson, Director of Business Development for Crestron Electronics. “By certifying multiple DM Engineers,
Control Concepts has demonstrated a real commitment to the support of their Crestron customers, consultants and integrators and
has proven again why they lead the pack in terms of their knowledge and support.”

CCI engineers Ken Danner and Mike Korinko have completed the DMC-D and DMC-E certifications and Steve Greenblatt
has completed the DMC-D certification. CCI’s technical staff also has extensive knowledge of Crestron’s commercial
lighting product, programming and energy code requirements and is also Crestron Commercial Lighting Certified.

“Training and certification have always been a big part Control Concepts’ core values and Crestron
DigitalMedia is a product line in which we feel confident investing our time and resources,” said Steve
Greenblatt, Control Concepts’ Founder and President. “Becoming certified will allow us to have the knowledge
and qualifications to support Crestron and our mutual customers to seamlessly integrate DigitalMedia systems.”

Crestron DigitalMedia was developed to meet the challenges of the digital era. Introduced a year ago, Crestron DM
is rapidly becoming an industry standard, with more than 6,300 successful installations. DM is a complete, integrated
solution that manages, controls and distributes all analog and uncompressed HD digital content over twisted pair or fiber.
Specifiers who use Crestron’s HD Digital Transport and Distribution System (HD-DTDS) specification guarantee their
customers that the design will be finalized by a certified DMC-E, which ensures proper system installation, configuration
of HDCP, video, resolution management, cabling and cabling distance.

A DM Certified Designer (DMC-D) understands the fundamental differences between analog and digital systems and the
unique design considerations needed to ensure reliable operation. A DM Certified Engineer (DMC-E) trains on every
aspect of system installation and commissioning. Crestron requires DM certified engineers to fully execute and support
DM projects designed using the HD-DTDS.
