CCI achieves InfoComm International Certified Gold Member Status.

Control Concepts, Inc. proudly announced it has achieved Audiovisual Solutions Provider Gold Certified Member from Infocomm International. Gold certification results from 75 percent of all customer service and technical staff receiving and maintaining InfoComm CTS certification. To earn Gold certification, CCI employees have successfully completed the certified industry professional training, as well as continued industry education to maintain the certification for the past several years.

The CTS designation is for industry professionals who display the desire and capacity to learn and maintain a proficient understanding of the science and technology of the audiovisual industry. A CTS certified professional is able to apply scientific fundamentals to a variety of audiovisual system design, installation, and control related tasks for the integrated audiovisual system. A CTS recipient must also abide by a Code of Ethics committing to honesty, accuracy, and excellence in their professional lives.

Currently, there are 5400 industry professionals who have received the CTS certification worldwide with about 15% of that outside North America. That number has increased about 45% over the past year according to Infocomm International. “Receiving the CTS certification is a fundamental requirement of all Control Concepts technical staff,” explained Ken Danner, Senior Programmer at CCI, “the basic skills of CTS certified personnel are a critical to the quality we provide.”

The CTS Gold credential is an opportunity for Control Concepts to benchmark themselves within the industry and demonstrate dedication to achieving and maintaining the skills needed to service their clients professionally. “Earning the CAVSP Gold Certification demonstrates our company’s commitment to education, industry standards, and reinforces our dedication to excellence,” remarked Steve Greenblatt, Founder of Control Concepts. “As Independent Programmers, it is equally important that we are familiar with all aspects of our industry as it is that we are knowledgeable about programming. Without a deep understanding of the Audiovisual Industry we would not be effective in our role as a Control System Programmer.” For more information about CTS certification and Infocomm International please visit the AVolution web site.
